My name is Rosie and I am a 21-year-old student studying drama, on the Applied Theatre pathway, at Northumbria University and hopefully will be graduating this year. I am originally from Yorkshire but moved up to Newcastle to become a student in 2017. From a young age I have been involved in the arts as I attended Stagecoach theatre arts school in Scarborough, for ten years where I participated in the tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and Annie the Musical. I also did many shows around the area of York and Scarborough whilst growing up as well as having experience in Jazz and Tap. I have always had a real big interest in theatre and working in the entertainment industry. In 2018, as part as one of our modules at university we performed at Seven Stories Children's Literature Centre where we brought the children's book, The Boy who Swam with Piranhas, alive for primary school ages students. Which made me realise I wanted to pursue a career in theatre in the community. And I am looking forward to being able to bring some fairy tale princesses and characters to life, to make your child's/children's day special for them.
